At a committee meeting held on 17th May 2011 there was much discussion about whether juniors of adequate ability should be invited to play at the club social sessions.
In accordance with LTA guidelines, the committee feel that the club should do all it can to encourage juniors to play tennis and improve their game.
It has therefore been decided that juniors aged 15 years and above who play in the Junior Ladder League operating at the club can come and join in the sessions.
The Committee has also made an exception to the age restriction for one junior aged 9 who is currently a County player and ranked 8 in England in his age group and he is also welcome.
We hope that all club members will welcome these promising juniors and encourage their enjoyment of tennis.
